JP is an amazing coach!
He's extremely knowledgeable of the human body, the musculature system and body movement. When I first found that I had had 3 small Lacunar Strokes, I immediately sought a personal trainer although I had exercised most of my life. He had opened up new workout vistas for me which has exceptionally benefitted my 83 year-old body. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in personal training.

I’m not a gym person and have started and quit the gyms in town more times than I care to admit. I tried many trainers, but I was always glad when the session was over and ended up sore for days. When I worked out on my own or went to classes, I often hurt myself, and then would dread going back. I needed a routine I could stick with... I met a trainer, JP, and knew he’d be a good fit for me. He has a BS degree in exercise physiology, tons of experience. I have come to trust him completely. I planned to go for a month, just to get enough knowledge to exercise on my own. Almost four months later, I can’t imagine stopping. I met a trainer, JP, and knew he’d be a good fit for me. He has a BS degree in exercise physiology, tons of experience. Investing in my physical health and mental well-being... has truly changed my life!

JP will get you to the best version of you that you can be, if you’re willing to put in the work necessary. You might not always like it, but you will know that he is pushing you for your personal benefit. I was the victim of an accident, many years ago, and JP stepped in to help with my physical therapy. When I graduated physical therapy, JP and I maintained a trainer/client relationship to further improve my gate and balance. JP individualizes your training to work with your needs and your, let’s say “deficiencies”. JP explained to me that with me, falling was inevitable. He just needed to train me to “fall properly”, to avoid further injuries. To this day, 9 years later, I never remember the actual fall, I just know that I ALWAYS land in a safe position, and without injury. I would get frustrated and tired during workouts and complain that something “hurt”. JP’s standard response was an almost life lesson: “Ok, does it hurt or is it a ‘mild discomfort?’”. He would adjust the exercise according to my response. I still had my wheelchair at the house but was able to walk. For my safety and stability purposes, while not actually lifting weights (which doctors did not want me to do), JP sat in the wheelchair and had me push him at varying speeds. He would time me, so I was able to push and improve in a timely and safe manner. You will not find a better or more capable personal trainer, than JP.
